Quarterly Capital Improvement Projects Closures

Recommended Action

That the Board of Commissioners:

1.                     Approves budget revisions to the County Capital Improvement Fund to close completed projects with remaining budget capacity as described below. Unexpended budget will be moved to project savings and reallocated for use in future capital projects through the capital budget development process; and

 

2.                     Appropriates $484,325 from the County Capital reserve for future funding in the County Buildings Element for short term decedent storage at the Wake County Detention Center Annex; and

 

3.                     Appropriates $1,302,909 of ARPA revenue in the American Rescue Plan Fund for Affordable Housing Development Projects; and

 

4.                     Reallocates $11,895,000 in the American Rescue Plan Fund from use on the Public Health Building and the Emergency Operations Center to Affordable Housing Development Projects; and

 

5.                     Reallocates $11,895,000 from the Affordable Housing CIP Fund to the County Capital Improvement Fund for the Public Health Building and the Emergency Operations Center
