Wake County Public School System Capital Improvement Program Reallocations and Appropriation (First Reading)
Recommended Action
That the Board of Commissioners receives information from the Board of Education on its request for reallocations and appropriations in the Capital Improvement Programs. If there are no outstanding questions, the Board of Commissioners will be asked to approve the following actions on February 19, 2018:
1. Reallocate $10,000,000 from CIP 2013 Life Cycle Replacements to the Seven-Year CIP for early construction funding at Parkside Elementary (E-50);
2. Reallocate $2,000,000 from Program Contingency in the Seven-Year CIP for early construction funding at Parkside Elementary (E-50) ; and
3. Appropriate $12,000,000 for early construction funding at Parkside Elementary (E-50)
