Approval of Ground Lease Agreement with the Town of Fuquay-Varina
Recommended Action:
That the Board of Commissioners:
1. Approves a Lease Agreement with the Town of Fuquay-Varina (the Town) pursuant to NCGS 160A-274 and authorizes the Chair to execute such document, subject to terms and conditions acceptable to the County Attorney; and
2. Authorizes the County Manager to execute Joint Use Agreements for the Willow Springs Elementary and the Fuquay-Varina Elementary School Parks, subject to terms and conditions acceptable to the County Attorney; and
3. Accepts $1 from the Town annually over the course of the lease and appropriates funds into the Parks, Greenways, Recreation, and Open Space CIP.
