Title

Approval of Construction Contract GMP #1 with Construction Manager at Risk for the Public Health Center Project

Recommended Action

That the Board of Commissioners:

 

                     1.                      Approves Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) #1 Contract in the amount of $15,334,691.00 with the previously selected Construction Manager at Risk, Skanska USA Building, Inc. of Durham, NC for the new Public Health Center project at the Swinburne Campus in Raleigh, NC, and

 

                     2. Authorizes the County Manager to execute this construction contract with Skanska USA Building, Inc.; said contract documents to be reviewed and approved by the County Attorney
