Public Hearing on the Reestablishment of the Wake County Fire Tax District Excluding the Corporate Limits of the Town of Wendell

Recommended Action

That the Board of Commissioners:

 

                     1.                     Holds a Public Hearing regarding the proposed establishment of a new Wake County Fire Protection Service District pursuant to N.C.G.S. § 153A-302;

 

                     2.                     Finds that the proposed district meets the standards and findings required by N.C.G.S. § 153A-302; and

 

                     3.                     Adopts the Resolution establishing the Wake County Fire Protection Service District, effective July 1, 2027, with boundaries that exclude the corporate limits of the Town of Wendell.
