3211 Bramer Drive Acquisition and Transfer Authorization
Recommended Action
That the Board of Commissioners:
1. Authorizes the acquisition of 3211 Bramer Drive, Raleigh, NC, at a purchase price of $4,150,000;
2. Authorizes the County Manager to execute any documentation necessary to acquire the property, subject to the terms and conditions acceptable to the County Attorney;
3. Adopts the resolution authorizing the transfer of 3211 Bramer Drive, Raleigh, NC, to the Women’s Center of Wake County, Inc. (“The Women’s Center”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for the purpose of creating non-congregate emergency shelter in accordance with N.C.G.S. 160A-279; and
4. Authorizes the County Manager to execute a purchase contract, deed, restrictive covenants, and any other documents necessary to convey 3211 Bramer Drive, Raleigh, NC, to The Women’s Center, subject to terms and conditions acceptable to the County Attorney.
