Award Construction Contract for Apex Main EMS Station Project for $3,999,538 to G&G Builders of Wendell, Inc

Recommended Action

That the Board of Commissioners:

 

1)                     Awards a construction contract in the amount of $3,999,538 to G&G Builders of Wendell, Inc., and

 

2)                     Authorizes the County Manager to execute the construction contract for the Apex Main EMS Station Project subject to terms and conditions acceptable to the County Attorney, and

 

3)                     Appropriate $1,250,000 from capital improvement project savings to cover cost escalations for the Apex Main EMS Station Project, and

 

4)                     Approves the facility name: “Apex Main EMS Station”
