Transfer of County Property to Fellowship Home of Raleigh
Recommended Action
That the Board of Commissioners:
1. Authorizes the County to transfer the County owned parcel (“Property”) located at 506 Cutler Street, Raleigh, NC to Fellowship Home of Raleigh, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization pursuant to a resolution adopted in accordance with N.C.G.S. 160A-279 and N.C.G.S. 160A-267;
2. Authorizes the County Manager to enter into a Funding Agreement with Fellowship Home of Raleigh for a total of $362,000 for capital improvements to the Property ($330,000) and one-time funding for property-related operating expenses ($32,000) subject to the terms and conditions acceptable to the County Attorney;
3. Authorizes the Chair to sign the deed and any other documents necessary to convey the Property to the Fellowship Home of Raleigh, subject to completion of the capital improvements referenced above and to other terms and conditions acceptable to the County Attorney;
4. Appropriates and transfers $330,000 from General Fund ABC fund balance to the Community Capital Element of the County Capital Improvement Fund for capital improvements to the property.
