Approve Opioid Settlement FY 2026-FY 2027 Plan, Resolution, and Appropriation 

Recommended Action

That the Board of Commissioners:

 

1.                     Approves the Wake County Opioid Settlement Funding Plan for FY 2026 and FY 2027; and

 

2.                     Approves a resolution to direct the expenditure of Opioid Settlement Funds for Wake County; and

 

3.                     Accepts and appropriates $6,6250,000 from the NC Department of Justice’s National Opioid Settlement Funds for deposit and use within the Wake County Opioid Settlement Fund; and

 

4.                     Authorizes the County Manager to amend contracts related to the Opioid Settlement Funding Plan through June 30, 2027.
