Proposed 2024 General Obligation Bonds Not to Exceed $337,000,000

Recommended Action

That the Board of Commissioners:

 

1.                     Adopts resolution making certain findings and determinations and authorizing and ratifying the filing of an application with the Local Government Commission in connection with the proposed issuance of 2024 Series B General Obligation Refunding Bonds (“2024B GO Bonds”) by the County of Wake, North Carolina; and

 

2.  Adopts Bond Order authorizing 2024B GO Bonds not to exceed $184,000,000 and direct the local publishing of a Notice of Adoption of Bond Order; and

 

3.  Adopts Issuance Resolution for 2024 Series A General Obligation Bonds (“2024A GO Bonds”) and 2024B GO Bonds to: (a.) refinance drawn amounts under certain Bond Anticipation Notes with not to exceed $153,000,000 of 2024A GO Bonds; and (b.) refund certain existing General Obligation Bonds of the County with not to exceed $184,000,000 of 2024B GO Bonds.
